M I R A G E
Camille Truyffaut
Artist Book
from the Latin mirari, meaning "to marvel" or "to admire." This word evokes both an optical illusion —a fleeting image that appears real but dissolves as one approaches— and a sense of wonder at what reveals itself, elusive and ephemeral.
I am presenting my artist book MIRAGE for pre-order to help support its production. Created in collaboration with graphic designer Elena Bollette, this book unfolds like a landscape, offering an immersive journey through textures and colors. Blurring the line between artwork and object, it invites to a poetic exploration of my work and inspirations. The book also features an interview with art writer Nancy Casielles, as well as a link to the soundscape & piano improvisation from the opening performance—an in situ creation by Jérémy Bocquet & Alan Ozkan, connecting the exhibited works, the passage of time, and the space of the chapel.
