from the Latin mirari, meaning "to marvel" or "to admire." This word evokes both an optical illusion —a fleeting image that appears real but dissolves as one approaches— and a sense of wonder at what reveals itself, elusive and ephemeral.
M I R A G E Artist book Created in collaboration with designer Elena Bollette, this book unfolds like a landscape, offering an immersive journey through textures and colors. Blurring the line between artwork and object, it invites to a poetic exploration of my work and inspirations. The book also features an interview with art writer Nancy Casielles, as well as a link to the soundscape & piano improvisation from the opening performance—an in situ creation by Jérémy Bocquet & Alan Ozkan, connects the exhibited works, the passage of time, and the space of the chapel.
